A panel session entitled "Russia — Kazakhstan: Russian-Kazakh Dialogue: Industrial Cooperation Between Kazakhstan and Russia" was held in St. Petersburg as part of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, which is a significant step towards strengthening interstate economic ties between Russia and Kazakhstan.
The session focused on current and future projects for industrial cooperation between the two countries, including joint ventures, investments, technology transfer, and potential areas of development. Participants emphasized the importance of this partnership for strengthening economic stability and long-term growth in both nations.
The session was attended by Ambassador of Kazakhstan in Russia Dauren Abaev, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Serik Zhumagarin, chairman of the Kazakh part of the Russian-Kazakh Business Council Timur Zharkinov and deputy chairman of the board of the National Chamber of entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan "Atameken" Timur Zharkev, as well as director for development of the foreign network of JSC "Russian Export Center" Dmitry Prokhorenko.
The meeting was attended by representatives of national companies, leading experts in the field of economics and industry, as well as members of business communities from both countries. During the event, specific examples of successful joint projects between Russia and Kazakhstan were discussed and new areas for cooperation were identified. The Russian-Kazakh Business Council played an important role in organizing and hosting this meeting, actively promoting the participation of business community representatives and experts, as well coordinating all preparatory activities. Thanks to the Council's efforts, the meeting provided unique opportunities for sharing experience, establishing new contacts and discussing promising projects aimed at strengthening industrial cooperation between Russia and Kazakstan.
